Das swingtastischste Jazz- und Tanz-Festival in Österreich

Kaum haben wir nach einem unfassbar schönen und stimmungsgeladenen Dixie-, Swing- &  Lindy Hop-Festival Weiz verlassen, sind wir schon wieder am planen, abstimmen und kontaktieren. Das Festival 2025 findet vom 8.-17. August 2025 statt. Die Headliner verraten wir Euch im Februar 2025. Die Fixpunkte verraten wir jetzt: Der „Workshop für traditionellen Jazz“ an der Musikschule Ilz findet vom 8.-10. August statt. Anmeldung Tools sind aktiv und Anmeldungen können schon jetzt erfolgen. (www.dixie-swingfestival.at/workshops). Ebenso können auch schon jetzt Tickets für das swingende Almfrühstück (17.8.2025) direkt bei der Bratlwirtin (bratl@almenland.at) gekauft werden. Fix ist auch, dass es wieder Lindy Hop und Swingtanz-Workshops für Anfänger, mäßig Fortgeschrittene, Fortgeschrittene und Masterclasses mit internationalen Trainer*innen und eine große Swingdance-Party geben wird. Vor allem aber dürft ihr Euch auf ein musikalisches Feuerwerk freuen. Eine Jubilarin, Berliner Gäste, eine XXXXL-Marching Band und so manche weitere Überraschung ist garantiert.

Bleibt in Schwing und fröhnt dem Ragtime, Dixieland, Swing, Blues. Dem Jazz.

The most swing-tastic jazz and dance festival in Austria

We have barely left Weiz after an incredibly beautiful and atmospheric Dixie, Swing & Lindy Hop festival, and we are already planning, coordinating and contacting again. The 2025 festival will take place from August 8-17, 2025. We will reveal the headliners in February 2025. The fixed points are already available: The “Workshop for Traditional Jazz” at the Ilz Music School will take place from August 8-10. Registration tools are active and registrations can already be made. (www.dixie-swingfestival.at/workshops). Tickets for the swinging Alpine breakfast (August 17, 2025) can also be purchased directly from the Bratlwirtin (bratl@almenland.at). It is also certain that there will be Lindy Hop and swing dance workshops for beginners, moderately advanced, advanced and master classes with international trainers and a big swing dance party. But above all, you can look forward to a musical fireworks display. A birthday girl, Berlin guests, an extra-large marching band and many more surprises are guaranteed.
